Decide how much you are willing to pay for each and every item. Remember that putting a realistic price on each item will make you be more prudent with the things you want if you are planning a wedding on a tight budget.

Now this here is the tricky part. You don't really want to insult anyone by not inviting them but you don't want to spend too much either. If you really want to have a wedding on a tight budget then you might want to reconsider inviting the friend of friends or coworkers who you normally wouldn't talk to on a regular basis. You may step on some toes while you cross people out of your list but it is for the best.

If you find something that is way out of your budget, but you think your wedding just cannot do without then you are going to have to take the excess amount out of other things. If you want a more expensive gown then maybe you should rethink about hiring a band.

5. Borrow things from your mother

You don't have to shell out that much cash on jewelry! You can borrow them from your mother, sister or friend before the big day. You don't have to own the jewelry that you are going to wear. After all you only need to look perfect for one day.
